There's a place for your hands here
From the warmth of the forge to the peace of the spinning wheel, it takes a whole community to safeguard ancient ways.
Give
Every donation supports education, access, and the preservation of skills that might otherwise be lost. Give once, or become a monthly supporter of traditional crafts.
Volunteer
Help at workshops, events, and building days. Assist with gardens, tools, materials, and community events. You don't need experience, only willingness.
Teach
Are you a blacksmith, weaver, herbalist, mason, cook, bookbinder, or keeper of any traditional skill? We're looking for craftspeople willing to pass on what they know, whether one workshop or ongoing mentorship.
Partner
Schools, museums, heritage groups, community organizations, businesses, and landowners: let's talk about how we can work together to enrich Alberta's cultural heritage.
Support Heritage Skills Preservation
Your gifts directly fund bursary seats for aspiring apprentices, purchase raw forge charcoal and heirloom seeds, and support the development of our permanent Living-History Village.
